Description from the seller
Elegant and refined, open bottles. (Decapsuleur) from a collectible set in silvered metal, made by the prestigious French silversmith house Christofle. Front: In bas-relief it features the classic profile of Napoleon Bonaparte with the inscription "NAPOLEON EMPEREUR". At the top the marks are clearly visible, the factory stamps and the inscription "Christofle France". Back: Decorated with the historical symbols of the French Empire: a laurel crown enclosing the imperial bee (l'abeille).
Conditions:
Excellent vintage condition. The piece retains the splendid luster typical of Christofle's high-end silver plating (only very slight and normal micro-scratches due to age, as visible in the detailed photos).
