Vase - Porcelain - QIANLONG VASE
A fine Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, attributed to the Qianlong period (1735–1795).
The decoration is arranged in three distinct bands and executed in a rich palette including gilt, green enamel, iron-red enamel, and grisaille tones. The neck is decorated with a continuous floral scroll, while the shoulder is painted with a delicate cracked-ice pattern. The main body features an elegant garden scene with a willow tree, chrysanthemums, roses, birds, grassy ground and a decorative fence.
The combination of colourful enamels, gilding and finely detailed painting reflects the refined aesthetic associated with eighteenth-century Chinese porcelain.
Condition: There are two hairline cracks extending from the rim. Please refer to the photographs for details.
