Rare Set of 8 Water Goblets by Nason Moretti "Torcello" in Murano Crystal and Gold Zecchino - Enciphered
Prestigious and exclusive service consisting of 8 water goblets in ultra-fine Murano crystal, produced by the historic Nason Moretti furnace. The lot features the famous and iconic Torcello model, here offered in its most luxurious and sought-after variant, enriched with significant finishes in gold zecchino.
The cup is entirely characterized by the meticulous ribbed twisted lattice work (rigadin torsè), executed by hand on the spot by the master glassmakers of the island. This continuous spiral motif imparts the crystal with extraordinary visual lightness and an exceptional ability to refract light. The design is framed in gold zecchino applied hot at three focal points: on the upper rim of the cup, on the ring of the central knot of the stem, and along the perimeter of the base.
Exclusive detail: Each goblet bears on the base two letters incised in gold zecchino. This personalized cipher testifies to the absolute exclusivity of the lot, originally produced by the Nason Moretti manufactory as a special service on private or high-representation commission.
