​Stunning lot of 7 vintage wooden (laminated) tennis rackets from the biggest brands of the golden age of world tennis. Ideal for wall decoration in a guesthouse, business, club house, or to complete a collection.

​STAR - Professional Model (With its metal press)
Era / Year: 1960s / early 1970s
Details: Classic wooden model with reinforced core. Sold with its cross-shaped aluminum press from the Zephyr brand (original) (used to prevent the wood from warping with humidity).
​Condition: Very good cosmetic condition, screen printing clearly visible, complete stringing.
​DONNAY - Set (With its metal press)
​Era / Year: 1970s
​Details: Model from the famous Belgian brand Donnay (which equipped Björn Borg). Very vintage green/yolk-yellow graphic design typical of the 70s. Also equipped with its Zephyr aluminum press.
​Condition: Good overall condition, sound wood, original grip with the “D” logo.
​SNAUWAERT - Contender
​Era / Year: Late 1960s / 1970s
​Details: Top-of-the-line model from the famous Belgian brand Snauwaert. Mention “For Championship Play” on the handle. Gorgeous red and gold details with star motifs.
​Condition: Some signs of use on the frame paint that give it authenticity (vintage patina), stringing impeccable.
​DONNAY - Flight
​Era / Year: Mid-1970s
​Details: A classic Donnay racket with its clean white design and dark wood at the throat.
​Condition: Good condition, original strings in place, brown leather grip.
​GAUTHIER - Madame Plus
​Era / Year: Late 1970s / Early 1980s
​Details: Rare French-made racket (Gauthier) with the inscription “Grand tamis renforcé fibre de verre” (large reinforced head with fiberglass). Magnificent electric blue finish. This was the transitional period just before the advent of all-graphite.
​Condition: The wood and frame are beautiful. Note: the vertical strings are loose/broken on one side (ideal for decoration, or restringing).
​HANIMEX - Challenger
​Era / Year: 1970s
​Details: Simple model in light varnished wood with reinforcing lines. Clean white bridge.
​Condition: Time patina visible on the top of the wooden frame (slightly darkened from use, proving it has lived on the courts!), fully strung.
​SNAUWAERT - Masterplay
​Era / Year: 1970s
​Details: Another very beautiful Snauwaert model with a white bridge and very elegant blue/white/red trim.
​Condition: Good condition, leather grip with original red end cap. Overall Condition:
​The rackets are in their original condition, with the superb patina of their era. The original leather or synderme grips are all present. The period markings and stickers are generally very well preserved.
