Description from the seller
Set of 8 water goblets, height 15.7 cm and diameter 7.4 cm, and 10 wine goblets, height 14.3 cm and diameter 6.8 cm, in 24% lead crystal, cut, characterized by a classic and geometric design typical of fine crystalware from Nachtmann (Germany) of the 1970s. It features a slender, inverted truncated cone shape. The top part is smooth and transparent, while the lower half is decorated with a dense, cut pattern. In the central part of the basin there are deep vertical grooves (spear-like cuts) that catch the light. Toward the base, the decoration becomes denser with a diamond-point or lattice cross motif, alternated with geometric engravings that create a splendid three-dimensional and refractive effect. The stem is faceted and shaped, adorned with a central prism node (hexagonal) that serves both as a decorative element and as an ergonomic grip. The foot is wide, circular and smooth, slightly bulged at the center to ensure stability and balance the slender proportions of the goblet. Conditions: one goblet slightly chipped at the base. It originally used simple paper or metallized adhesive labels (which have worn off over time with washing).
