This is a Sony Handycam CCD-TR427E in silver color. It's a vintage late-1990s model that uses the Video 8 cassette format. It features NightShot for shooting in low light and an 80x digital zoom. The viewfinder is black-and-white, although the recordings are done in color. To transfer the footage to a modern computer, a USB video capture device connected to the camera's analog audio/video output is required.
