Description from the seller

Christofle Salad cutlery, Baguette, (in some French catalogs from that time also referred to as the Uni or Vieux Paris model)
History: the Baguette design originally dates from the 18th century (as a traditional French silversmithing model) but was released by Christofle from the mid-19th century in heavily silver-plated versions.
It grew to become the most popular patterns for luxury serving cutlery.
Hallmark: Name stamp: On the right is clearly CHRISTOFLE
Square mark: (Poincon) on the left a square stamp with a symbol inside. For Christofle cutlery from the 19th and early 20th century this is the factory mark. This specific square stamp contains a Beehive with above the letters "CC" (from Charles Christofle) and three stars.
Material of the bowl: Polished black horn (buffalo horn) to protect against tarnish of the silver.
Length: 28 cm, Weight 85 grams per piece, in accordance with the standard for this type of antique French serving pieces.

In perfect condition, only the bowl has some craquelure on the inner edge, see photo.
