Philips 22GA228 Automatic turntable from 1968, physical condition good, functional condition tested and working, weight 3 kg, 1 unit, no extras.
Description from the seller
This vintage compact turntable is a Philips 22GA228 from 1968. Ingeniously functioning automatic turntable.
On the right-front there is a lever for setting the speed, and a Start button. After pressing the Start button, the tonearm automatically searches for the record diameter, then the arm rises slightly and places the needle in the lead-in groove. By pressing the Start button again the arm returns and the motor stops. Of course, an automatic end-of-play shutoff is present.
The turntable has been refurbished, has a new belt, and a tonearm GP204 for both a needle for tracing 78 rpm and a second needle for playing stereo records (33 and 45 rpm).
