The sculpture is part of a series of works themed around clowns; this one in particular was produced in 1989 and withdrawn from production in 2000.
The large sculpture is decorated in the traditional glossy pastel color palette and shaped as a melancholic clown with the inscription "LLADRÓ" in blue above "Hand Made in Spain".

My name is Riccardo, I recently graduated in Art History from the University of Florence and I am passionate about porcelain.
