Description from the seller
Iconic 1950s coffee grinder produced by the historic Italian company 'Tre Spade' of Piedmontese origins. The coffee grinder is distinguished by geometric and clean lines according to the concept of geometric rationalism typical of the post-war period, softened by the warm cream color lacquered finish used in those years to give a touch of modernity, uniqueness and cleanliness to domestic environments, replacing dark nineteenth-century wood with different visual impact characteristics. Frontal logo of the company in gold and red and at the base the production or purchase date of the object as well as other marks that I cannot decipher. The cap and the chromed crank pair well with the design of the coffee grinder, in my opinion suitable for various contexts: lofts, taverns, cottages, farms and various environments in rustic/country, Provençal or shabby style as well as modern design and industrial. The cosmetic conditions of the grinder are vintage with some signs of time and age in the enamel as shown in the photo which I recommend consulting for a true impression of the object. The technical conditions are excellent and everything runs smoothly. I have performed external cleaning/polishing but not washing of the internal mechanism. The measurements indicated in the Catawiki titles refer to the body of the object, to which you must add the height of the cap and the crank whose arm length is 10 cm. For this object I will use protective packaging and shipping with a courier suitable for the destination. I offer the possibility of combined shipping.
