Artur Sudak (born 1965) presents The Globetrotter, an original 2026 oil on canvas measuring 100 × 70 cm, signed and with certificate of authenticity, in mint condition, in the neo-impressionist style, depicting an autumn scene with a large ornate balloon and a smaller balloon on the horizon, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
“Globtroter” is a large-format oil painting that embodies the quintessence of Artur Sudak’s mature style.
The central element of the composition is a giant, intricately adorned balloon, drifting above a dreamy desert landscape illuminated by a golden sun.
On the balloon’s surface sits an intriguing inscription “NEVERMORE” – a direct literary reference to Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, which gives the voyage a tone of melancholy, mystery and the inevitability of fate.
In the distance, a second, smaller balloon is seen disappearing into thickening, stormy clouds, and a red, surrealist architecture looms on the horizon. At the bottom, two silhouettes of people stand, casting long shadows, watching the monumental spectacle in the sky. It is a deep metaphor for the human journey through life – the search for freedom, pushing boundaries and confronting what is unknown and inevitable.
