AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Table or shelf clock, in burnished/patinated bronze, bell-shaped with a grip at the top. Crafted using the lost-wax casting technique. Fully worked in the round with religious figures and floral motifs; there are also Latin inscriptions of liturgical/religious nature engraved. The inserted clock has just been overhauled and is of excellent workmanship; it is a Parisian piece with an anchor escapement movement from the early 1900s. It stands about 18 cm tall. The flat base is about 12.5 cm wide and rests on three worked feet about 2 cm high. The clock can be easily removed by loosening the two side screws, and it is wound via a central pin on the front of the dial, with its key included. Winding lasts more than a day. The dial is enamelled with cartouches, with applied Roman numerals and rather refined; I note a chip at the six o’clock position, probably due to use of the winding key over time—the pin is just above the numeral. Hands in a classical style. Tracked shipping.
