This very peculiar coffee maker was designed by Pino Spagnolo, an architect, at his design studio Pino Spagnolo Design Snc in Turin, Italy. It was produced at the Biesse Group Italia in 1994. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London permanently displays the coffee pot in its collection together with thirteen sheets of design drawings and two wooden models.
The coffee maker was made with the kettle in aluminum, while the upper part is made of transparent plastic.
The handle was also made with sturdy black plastic.
