Description from the seller

A completely original 1996 Fiat Coupé. This iconic sports coupé, designed by Pininfarina, comes in the only correct color: Rosso Corsa. The car rides on the original 15-inch four-spoke alloy wheels, which perfectly complement the characteristic design.

This Fiat Coupé (type 175) was originally delivered in the Netherlands and is equipped with the reliable 1.8 16V engine producing 130 hp. Thanks to this engine, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 km/h.

The car is in an original and fresh condition. There is light stone chips on the bonnet, fenders, and roof, consistent with the car’s age. The front bumper and the metal side skirts were repainted in 2026. The original wheels are fitted with new hubcaps. The interior is neat and well maintained; the original upholstery is free of holes and tears. In addition, the floor mats set has been recently renewed. The only point needing attention is the headlining, which sags in a few places.

In May 2026 the car received a comprehensive service, including replacement of the timing belt and multi-r belt. A new APK (General Inspection) was issued, valid until 21 May 2027. In 2025 the alternator and battery were also replaced. Various maintenance invoices are available, as well as the original booklets, keys, and brochures.

Thanks to the timeless design by Chris Bangle and well-known owners such as Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, and Richard Hammond, the Fiat Coupé has grown into a true cult classic. A car for enthusiasts who dare to stand out and a characterful classic for the future.

The car is in Rijssen and can be viewed and test-driven by appointment. The Fiat has a valid Dutch license plate. Transport can be arranged if desired, but of course you can also pick up the car yourself. Export documents can be arranged upon request.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
