This model is equipped with the massive 8.2-liter (500 cubic inches) V8 engine, the largest displacement engine mounted in a post-war touring car. It is considered one of the last great expressions of classic American luxury and a highly sought-after model by collectors because Cadillac promoted it at the time as "the last American convertible."
