Description from the seller
GENERAL
The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was the last model of the brand with this displacement, representing a milestone in the history of American automotive industry, being the last year GM produced a convertible of these dimensions on its E-body platform before the size reductions in later years. This model is equipped with the massive 8.2-liter (500 cubic inches) V8 engine, the largest displacement engine mounted in a post-war touring car. It is considered one of the last great expressions of classic American luxury and a highly sought-after model by collectors because Cadillac promoted it at the time as "the last American convertible." This particular example stands out for having only 26,000 miles on the odometer, guaranteeing an exceptional state of preservation.
CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA
The bodywork of this convertible is in good condition, its Calumet Cream color is original, preserving the imposing lines and the spectacular presence that defined the great convertibles of the 70s. The paint retains a very cared-for appearance although it has some minor flaws, with no scratches or dents.
MECÁNICA
Technically it is front-wheel drive, the imposing 8.2 V8 runs smoothly and powerfully, providing the refined driving experience and the torque characteristic of Cadillac. The mechanics are in very good working order, it has 4 disc brakes, self-levelling air suspension, catalytic converter, allowing you to fully enjoy the classic American driving experience without compromises in terms of power or comfort.
INTERIOR
The cabin presents an outstanding state, where the upholstery, moldings and original finishes are very well preserved though showing wear appropriate to its age. The interior atmosphere faithfully conveys the luxury and comfort typical of the Eldorado finish, offering an impeccable presentation that is up to a true collectible vehicle.
DOCUMENTACIÓN
The vehicle has all its documentation in order, being fully ready to proceed with the transfer to the new owner immediately.
RECOGIDA
Vehicle pickup will take place in Olot, Girona province (Catalonia), Spain. There is the possibility of arranging transport through specialized companies, whose final cost will be determined depending on the destination requested by the buyer.
OTRA INFORMACIÓN
This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with only 26,000 miles. As one of the most iconic and exclusive milestones of the brand, this car is not only a pleasure vehicle but an investment piece in true collectible status due to its low production and excellent maintenance."

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
