Description from the seller
Ceramic birdhouse
"This series of birdhouses was born from a desire to change approach, to step away from my usual typologies to explore a more free, decorative object. I wanted to work with a more instinctive drawing, applying to a new form the materials and textures I love: rough stoneware and this drop-glaze that has accompanied me for a long time. A project a little apart, more intuitive, born from a need to play, to experiment — far from daily function, but always in the gesture."
Materials: Glazed stoneware
About Lucas Huillet:
Trained at Camondo School in design and interior architecture. This academic path opened the doors to collaborations with prestigious houses and institutions. In 2018, he created his studio as a space of exploration where ceramics, interior architecture, and object design intersect around expertise in working with natural materials, allowing the creation of unique pieces that are both everyday objects and works in their own right.
Today, the studio continues to combine artisanal craft and contemporary innovation, with the aim of creating objects that carry meaning and authenticity.
Lucas Huillet’s creations have been exhibited notably at Paris Design Week, Collectible in Brussels, and Dubai’s Al Shindagha Museum."
