Description from the seller
Birdhouse in ceramic
"This series of birdhouses was born from a desire to change my approach, to step away from my usual typologies and explore a freer, more decorative object.
I wanted to work with a more instinctive drawing, applying to a new form the materials and textures I love: raw stoneware and this drop-glaze effect that has accompanied me for a long time.
A project a little apart, more intuitive, born from a need to play, to experiment — far from daily function, but always in the gesture."
Materials: Glazed stoneware
About Lucas Huillet:
Formed at Camondo School in design and interior architecture. This academic path opened doors to collaborations with prestigious houses and institutions.
In 2018, he created his studio as a space of exploration where ceramics, interior architecture and product design intersect, around an expertise in working with natural materials, allowing him to conceive unique pieces that are both everyday objects and fully fledged works of art.
Today, the studio continues to combine traditional craft with contemporary innovation, with the aim of creating objects that carry meaning and authenticity.
Lucas Huillet’s creations have been shown, notably at Paris Design Week, Collectible in Brussels, and Dubai’s Al Shindagha Museum.
