Artur Sudak, The Life Decision, oil on canvas, 100 × 70 cm, original edition from 2026, with a handwritten signature, varnished, edges painted, origin Poland, Neo-Impressionism, autumn scene, certificate of authenticity included.
Description from the seller
“Life Decision” is a large-format, highly spectacular painting by Artur Sudak. The central and most spectacular point of the composition is a floating in the clouds, gigantic rock formation crowned by a slender, golden castle or fortress. From the base of this sky island flow downward vertical, organic structures and streaks, reminiscent of waterfalls or roots, connecting the sky with the hazy surface of the water.
In the lower left corner, on a sandy promontory, stands a solitary woman in a long, luminous dress. Her figure is turned away from the viewer, and her gaze is focused on the powerful, otherworldly phenomenon before her. This composition forms a poignant existential metaphor of the titular “Life Decision” — the moment when a person faces a huge challenge, unknown fate, or radical change, represented by an inaccessible, airborne castle above the clouds.
Technique: oil on canvas
Dimensions: 100 × 70 cm
Signature: yes
Varnish: yes
Edges painted: yes
