AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful silver 1920s–1930s Art Deco necklace with marcasites. Marked: 835. N.B. In daylight it is easier to see that the marcasites are dark in color and thus form a contrast with their silver background; unfortunately this is not visible in the photos! N.B. Marcasites are sparkling iron sulfide stones (often cut pyrite) historically used in silver jewelry as an affordable, brilliant alternative to diamonds, popular since the 18th century. Spiritually they symbolize wisdom, courage and self-expression, and they have a stabilizing, soothing, and protective effect against negative influences.
