A notably signed Art Deco bronze sculpture of a javelin thrower / athlete, clearly in a typical interwar style.

Massive cast (not hollow), very heavy piece (3100 g), signed P. Freddy in bronze. The original black stone plinth is also engraved with the same signature.

Strong dynamic design with typical Art Deco lines and a sports theme.

Beautiful decorative and collectible sculpture.

Probably European production from the first half of the 20th century.
