Description from the seller
This exceptional Payá electric train set is a jewel of Spanish collecting that preserves all of its original essence. The set stands out for including its box (although with typical flaws due to its age), period manuals, and the blue transformer, elements that rarely survive together. The locomotive 984 and its three passenger cars retain a vibrant lithography. The locomotive measures 18 cm in length, the cars 15 cm and the coal tender 11 cm; the complete train measures 85 cm in length and the tracks, assembled, measure 132 x 70 cm. It is important to note that the locomotive's wheels show metal fatigue (zamak), a typical detail of these pieces that underscores their authenticity and opens a nice restoration opportunity. A complete lot, loaded with history and perfect for nostalgic enthusiasts or experts who wish to preserve the legacy of the mythical Payá factory. Due to its age and the condition of the wheels, its operation has not been tested, so we cannot guarantee it works; otherwise it is quite well-preserved considering it is a toy from the 1940s/50s, very difficult to obtain and much less complete with box and documentation, a unique opportunity you should not miss, delivered as shown in the photographs.
