Description from the seller
Fascinating 35mm Voigtländer Vito CL analog camera produced in Germany in the 1960s, a classic compact rangefinder model renowned for mechanical reliability and the elegance of design typical of that era. The body stands out for its chrome, polished top cover, on which the model name is clearly engraved, paired with a black textured vulcanized coating in overall excellent aesthetic condition. On the front, the window of the large, efficientselenium light meter is prominent, positioned just above the main lens to facilitate reading light during manual shooting. The camera is fitted with a prestigious fixed Voigtländer Lanthar 50mm lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8, an objective appreciated for its sharpness and vivid color rendering with soft bokeh, housed in a central shutter with knurled metal rings to adjust speeds and apertures. This collectible lot is accompanied by its original protective case, the “Prontor” shape in sturdy dark brown leather, equipped with side metal attachments for the strap and characterized by a splendid patina of age that testifies to its history without compromising its protective integrity. The ensemble presents itself as an ideal piece to enrich a collection of historic German cameras or as a splendid display item for lovers of mid-century design and vintage photography."} })
