Jules Joseph BOURDET 1799/1869. Two exceptional watercolors by Jules Bourdet in a pendant pair. A caricaturist painter and lithographer who exhibited at the Salon from 1825 to 1849.
Died in poverty and begging after selling all his possessions to fund his alcohol consumption.
