Wall clock - Art Nouveau - Brass - 1850-1900

Large antique wall clock from the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900), made in ebonized wood with decorative metal inlays and painted ornaments.

The clock features an unusual sculptural wave-shaped case with brass details and a mechanical movement. It comes together with its pendulum and winding key.

The movement starts running but stops after some time and therefore requires servicing/restoration. The clock is sold as non-working.

The item remains in antique condition with signs of age and possible later alterations, including wear to the blackened surface, minor scratches, and age-related patina.

A decorative and atmospheric antique piece with strong Napoleon III / historicist influence, probably made in France or Central Europe.
