They are numbers 1 and 2 of the special series “Specialmente eseguita per la Fiat Torino,” featuring an urban scene depicting the Mole Antonelliana and a Fiat car in the foreground, symbol of the city of Turin.

Description

Produced in a limited edition, these demilune plates were commissioned by Fiat to the Milanese atelier of Piero Fornasetti as a commemorative tribute to the city of Turin and to the automotive production of the era.

They depict two different views of the Mole Antonelliana with Fiat cars on a fine hatch-engraved background, typical of Fornasetti’s graphic style.
