 ProductionOrigin: Malelane, Mpumalanga, South Africa.Raw Material: Fresh sugarcane juice (local Nkomazi variety).Distillation: Handcrafted in a traditional copper pot still designed by the founder.Aging: Matured for 1 to 2 years (depending on the batch) in French oak casks previously used for Cape red wine. The casks are shaved and re-toasted at the distillery before being filled.
Flavor Profile (Tasting Notes)Despite its high 65% alcohol volume, reviewers note that the alcohol is surprisingly well-integrated.Nose: Intense and complex aromas blending fresh grassy sugarcane with woody notes, vanilla, spices, and red fruits from the wine barrel (such as black cherry and grape).
