Description from the seller

Antique wooden mantle clock made by Junghans made around the end of the 19th century.

The carved case with small brass ornaments is made of mahogany. The dial has a glass door with a brass bezel.

The movement is running, the clock strikes the hours and half hours on a single gong. With winding key.

There is a small repair on the top right (see photo’s) and the glass door has some slack on the hinge.

Dimensions: height 51 cm, width 32 cm and depth 18 cm.

Please note that shipment of a mechanical clock can disturb the beat adjustment of the pendulum and the striking. This can result in a none running clock on arrival. It needs some knowledge of clocks to put the clock into beat again.
