Tea service (14) - Porcelain

Japanese porcelain tea service with a polychrome decoration enhanced by gold, depicting a traditional landscape with torii, pagodas, pines, and figures in kimono.

The pieces bear on the reverse a red seal in Japanese characters 幸楽 (Kōraku), attributable to a Japanese porcelain workshop producing export-quality pieces in the second half of the 20th century. This type of decoration is characteristic of productions from Arita, renowned for the fineness of their porcelain and the richness of their designs.

The outlines are underscored with gold, the enamels feature a delicate palette of blues, greens, pinks, and ochres, testifying to careful, entirely hand-crafted workmanship.
