Precious illustrated edition dedicated to the "One Thousand and One Nights", published by the prestigious Folio Society and enriched by the extraordinary plates by Edward J. Detmold, among the most refined British illustrators of the early twentieth century.
The work collects some of the most famous narratives of Eastern tradition, including the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor, presented through a rich iconographic apparatus of great decorative and symbolic charm.
