Three Murano glass vanity bottles from Italy, in Art Deco style, model vetro a fili, dating to circa 1950–1960, each about 9 cm in height and footprint with pontil marks on the bases, in good used condition.
Description from the seller
Exclusive pair of vintage vanity bottles / perfume flacons made of Murano glass (Venice, Italy), artisanally crafted in the mid-20th century (c. 1950–1970). They measure 9x8 cm and the blue one 8x8 cm; the blue is in excellent condition, but the red one shows a bit of aging around the rim. This lot includes two precious collectible pieces of art glass blown in cane technique, notable for the complexity of their traditional Venetian decorative methods. Both pieces bear on their bases the characteristic pontil mark (the ‘scar’ or cut of the blown glass), which unequivocally guarantees manual fabrication by a master glassblower and rules out any molded industrial production. They do not retain their original paper labels due to the passage of time, something common with these everyday-use pieces.
