Bleikristall glass vase with a 925 sterling silver mount by Hermann Bauer, Germany, ca. 1950–1960, about 26 cm high with a 6 cm opening and 6 cm stand base, weighing around 1 kg, featuring roughly 80 cut facets and a heraldic HB Wappen crest, in outstanding condition.

Unique find, a lead crystal glass vase in ball-cut with silver mount 925 Sterling stamped 925 Sterling HB with coat of arms (Hermann Bauer).
About 80 embedded spheres
Height approx. 26 cm,
Base diameter approx. 6 cm
Opening diameter approx. 6 cm
Weight: approx. 1000 g.
Condition: Excellent, without chips, minor scratches and soiling (see pictures).
Hermann Bauer was born in 1833 in Heilbronn, Germany.
In 1863 he founded his own silverware factory in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
At the beginning of his career as a silversmith he became famous mainly for his Renaissance jewelry, which was even worn by Queen Olga of Württemberg and soon earned him the nickname “Renaissance Bauer.”
To this day the company is in operation and has earned an international reputation in the Swabian silversmith workshop.
Even today they stand for quality with a long tradition and artistic jewelry making from high-quality silver and timeless design.
