Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Vintage iron and wood magazine rack from France, dating to 1970–1980, in good used condition with minor signs of age and imperfections, measuring 42 cm wide, 30 cm high and 26 cm deep with a rustic wood top.
Description from the seller
It's a vintage magazine rack from the second half of the 20th century that combines the sturdiness of iron with the warmth of a wood-finished top, a mix very typical of European domestic design of the 60s–80s, when functionality began to dialogue with decoration without losing simplicity.
The metal structure, light yet solid, is arranged in the shape of a small open cradle, with vertical bars that allow you to see the contents and provide visual rhythm. The finish shows that gentle wear of time, a patina that softens the color and gives it character without taking away elegance. The upper wooden piece, softly aged, acts as a warm, tactile finish, balancing the coldness of the metal and adding an artisanal touch that elevates the whole.
The design, sober and practical, fits within a mid-century functionalist style, with rustic echoes and a slightly Provençal air that makes it very versatile: it can coexist in both modern interiors and more classic or boho environments.
An object designed to accompany everyday life, but with that discreet and charming presence that only good vintage designs retain.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
