Description from the seller
Description:
This Sony PS-LX60 is a fully automatic stereo turntable, ideal for the music lover. The device is in nearly new condition and functions as it should. The model features a servo-driven platter and supports both 33 and 45 RPM.
The Sony PS-LX60 is a fully automatic belt-driven turntable that Sony released between 1988 and 1990. It is a compact model that at the time was often sold as part of complete hi-fi audio systems (such as the Sony XO-D series). Because the turntable uses a fixed stylus pressure and has no built-in preamp, it requires specific ancillary equipment for proper use.
Key Specifications:
Drive: Belt drive with a DC servo motor.
Speeds: Suitable for 33⅓ and 45 RPM ( selectable via a push button).
Operation: Fully automatic (start, stop and automatic tonearm return).
Cartridge: Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge with the standard Sony ND-155G replacement needle.
Format selection: Switch for 17 cm (singles) and 30 cm (LPs).
Dimensions: 355 x 100 x 340 mm (width x height x depth).
Weight: Approximately 2.6 kg.
Important when connecting and maintenance: Phono preamplifier required: The PS-LX60 has fixed tulip cables (RCA) with a low output signal. You must connect it to the turntable’s dedicated PHONO input on an amplifier. If your modern amplifier or active speaker does not have this, a separate phono preamplifier (pre-amp) is necessary.
This beautiful turntable will be packed with the utmost care for shipping.
