Superb set of 2 large antique enameled cast-iron dishes from the famous French brand Le Creuset, emblematic of design and culinary quality of the 50s/60s.

These vintage dishes combine robustness, retro aesthetics and excellent cooking performance thanks to enameled cast iron, a material renowned for its even heat diffusion and great durability.

The set includes :
• Large oval Le Creuset dish No. 36 – 1960s
Magnificent vintage iconic orange color with cream interior.
The underside bears the markings “Le Creuset”, “Made in France” as well as the number 36.
This dish shows :
a couple of chips on the rim of one handle ;
some wear of gloss on the interior ;
no major chips on the interior ;
very good overall condition for its age.

Very nice old model in green with white interior.
The underside bears the markings “Le Creuset”, “Made in France” as well as the number 24.
This dish can be used :
over gas flame ;
universal cooktop;
in the oven.

It is in excellent overall condition, with no chips or notable enamel wear.
The metal handles are intentionally rough and a cover or original trim is probably missing, to consider according to the collector’s taste.
