Description from the seller

Magnificent antique oval Le Creuset casserole dating from the 1940s-1950s, recognizable by its old marking under the base as well as its superb design typical of that period.

This piece features a beautiful gradient coloration from volcanic orange to deep red, highly sought after by collectors of vintage Le Creuset enameled cast iron.

Under the pot appear:
the old Le Creuset diamond mark;
the number 14;
the inscription "BIS";
the Le Creuset mark.
Very attractive decorative presence and authentic vintage patina.

Overall condition:
Exterior enamel still very bright despite its age, numerous chips visible in the bottom interior of the bowl linked to former use, no active rust in the chips, interior retains all the charm of its history, a few chips also present on the handles and on the rim of the lid, overall remaining solid, sound and very decorative.

Dimensions:
Height: 18 cm
Length with handles: 37 cm
Width: 25 cm
Weight: 5.5 kg

Superb antique piece ideal for a vintage Le Creuset collection, retro kitchen decor, or use after restoration if desired.

Authentic antique piece favored by collectors and becoming hard to find in this version and color.

Very careful shipping and perfectly protected.

Kind regards.
