Canon FD 135mm 1:2.8 (US Navy) Camera lens

This particular lens appears to have been used during the Cold War era, precisely on board the USS Midway, somewhere between 1981 and 1991. Manufacturing dates back to October 1981 according to the encoding (V1010). Manually engraved, alongside the stamped "U.S. NAVY", are the aircraft carrier's code name "CV-41" as well as what seems to be the Operations Division "OP01". The lens is in perfect mechanical and optical condition, not so much aesthetically though, as seen in the pictures, because of a bump mark on the lens hood, however not impacting its functionality. I've tried tracing it back to whomever used it but the best I could find is a picture of the OP Division from that period. In the pictures I've also included an FD to EF adapter and a 52mm rotating polarizing filter, in case the buyer actually wants to use the lens with a more modern camera. Lens caps are not the original ones.
