Description from the seller
Iconic art print after Robert Delaunay – “Rhythme sans Fin” (1930)
(our last copy in this auction)
For sale is a high-quality, large-format art print after one of the most significant works of early abstract art.
Robert Delaunay is regarded as one of the most important pioneers of abstraction and as the founder of Orphism – a style that places color, rhythm, and movement at the center. His works have great art-historical importance and enjoy growing international demand.
The motif “Rhythme sans Fin” from 1930 is among the central compositions of his oeuvre. The circular, interlocking color segments create a dynamic, almost pulsating visual effect and exemplify Delaunay’s exploration of light, movement, and color harmony.
These works in particular are highly attractive to collectors, as they mark the transition to pure abstraction and represent one of the clearest expressions of his color theory.
The large-format art print (approx. 90 × 70 cm) impresses with its intense color impact and strong visual presence. The piece is ideal as a statement piece – for fans of classical modernism as well as for modern, architecturally influenced interiors.
An iconic motif from one of the most important pioneers of abstract art with high recognizability.
