Description from the seller

This splendid tablecloth is a true masterpiece of Italian textile craftsmanship, a vintage heirloom piece that today is almost impossible to find with such precision of execution. The set consists of a generous tablecloth measuring 250 by 155 centimeters, perfect for a table of twelve, and twelve coordinating napkins. The cutwork embroidery, also known as Richelieu, is executed entirely by hand on a high-quality linen, lightweight with an extremely fine weave. The design is classic and exceedingly elegant: large bouquets of richly detailed flowers alternate with delicate garlands, creating a play of solid and empty spaces that lends lightness and brightness to the table. The entire set is in impeccable condition, free of any stains, spots, or embroidery flaws. For accuracy, I should note that the tablecloth has been washed only once to refresh it, which is why it shows a slightly lighter and more luminous tone than the napkins, which have remained in their original, new state. This subtle nuance is exactly proof of the naturalness of the thread and the fact that the set has never actually been used. It is an object for those who can appreciate the value of the time and patience required to create such a work, ideal for important occasions or to be handed down as a collectible piece. Dimensions: 250 x 155 cm
