Description from the seller
Armchair model 300-177, designed by Józef Chierowski, is one of the most famous examples of Polish modernism. A characteristic feature is its light wooden construction made of beech wood. The armrests with a unique shape resemble rabbit ears. The armchair was produced by Dolnośląskie Fabryki Mebli in Poland in the 1960s. The piece is original, and has undergone professional carpentry and upholstery renovation using traditional manual methods. We preserved its original appearance. Condition: very good. The furniture construction has been sanded, re-glued, and lacquered in a walnut shade with a subtle silky gloss. The upholstery fabric is high-quality and stain-resistant, in a warm, honey-yellow tone. Dimensions: width 65 cm, depth 70 cm, height 70 cm, seat height 37 cm, seat depth 43 cm, seat width 45 cm.
