Description from the seller

Ceramic ashtray made possible by Ditmar Urbach in the former Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. The object features a stylized white polar bear gazing over an ice floe toward the light-blue "water" in the middle. At the rear there are two raised holders (originally intended for cigarettes/lighters or as small vases), finished with a rich gold edge. At the front corner there is a slight damage and the gilding on the polar bear is partially worn away, as seen in the photos. A stamp is faded or not present. The lot will be shipped insured.
