Artur Polar is a contemporary artist whose work moves between the abstract and the symbolic, exploring the fusion between gestures and organicity. His works have a sensorial and meditative charge, sometimes referring to spectral and ephemeral beings, sometimes to landscapes diluted in memory and sometimes to totemic artifacts. Overall, it seems to contain traces of an ancestral narrative mixed with a contemporary approach.

The artist's favorite medium is spray paint on colored paper because it allows for versatility, where gesture, texture, and transparency are highlighted.

Over the past 15 years he has been involved in various artistic projects, having already exhibited in Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
