Large high-quality silver pâté server spoon with gilding by Parisian silversmith Laurent Labbé, circa 1830/35, 950 silver, weight 122.5 g, dimensions 6 x 27.3 cm, in good condition with minor signs of age.

Description: A large and high-quality silver pastry serving spoon with gilding, featuring a double heart fillet stem design with an engraved coat of arms on the reverse. A very handsome model, made by the Parisian silversmith Laurent Labbé in circa 1830/35.
Origin: Paris, France
SilverSmith: Laurent Labbé (1829-1852)
Year: approx. 1830/35 (as hallmarks date from 1819-1838 and Labbé began as a goldsmith in 1829)
Hallmarks: Le Vieillard (fineness hallmark), Ceres head (great guarantee mark Paris), master mark (LL with rabbit), snout beetle hallmark
Condition: in good condition
Weight: 122.5 grams
Fineness: 950/1000
