Beswick - Sculpture, Dalmatian - 35 cm - Earthenware

A striking and highly collectible Beswick porcelain Dalmatian fireside dog, model no. 2271, standing an impressive 35 cm in height. Designed by Graham Tongue and produced in England during the latter half of the 20th century, this iconic model is finished in Beswick's characteristic gloss white glaze with hand-painted black spotting and finely detailed facial features. The figure captures the elegant proportions and alert expression of the Dalmatian breed, making it an attractive decorative statement piece as well as a sought-after collector's item. Marked "Beswick England" to the underside and presented in very good vintage condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration.
