Description from the seller

Magnificent centerpiece that adds a touch of distinction and classic sophistication to your table (chafing dish or serving platter with lid). A piece that perfectly combines the opulence of silverplated metal with the functionality of high-resistance tempered glass. Ideal for use at large celebrations or as a high-end decorative centerpiece.
-Origin:
*Metal part - Origin Unknown (probably Europe)
*Glass tray - Brazil.
-Style: Neoclassical with Regency influences. It stands out for its floral and organic ornamental motifs on the legs and handles, combined with an elegant openwork geometric lattice design around the perimeter of the structure.
-Period: Second half of the 20th century (c. 1950-1980).
-Materials:
*Structure and lid: Silver-plated metal.
*Glass tray - Brazil. *Inner tray: Clear refractory glass (oven/heat safe).
Technique: Pressed and openwork metal with cast ornamentation (on handles and architectural claw feet). Pressure-molded glass with embossed inscriptions.

*Glass tray: Marked on the bottom: “MARINEX IND. BRAS.” at one end and “MADE IN BRAZIL 0 13” at the other.
-Condition: In good vintage condition with no dents. The glass is free of chips, nicks, and cracks. It shows minimal signs of natural aging at the internal joints of the base, which do not affect its aesthetics or structural integrity.
-Measurements:
*Length (handle to handle): 38.5 cm
*Width: 18 cm
*Total Height (including lid to the top): 17 cm
*Length without handles: 30 cm
*More detailed measurements in the photos
-Versatility:
*Hot/Cold Serving Dish: The Marinex tempered glass tray (renowned worldwide for its heat resistance) allows you to bake or keep food warm and present it directly at the table, keeping it elegant within the silver stand.
*Decorative Element: With its striking design, it makes a majestic centerpiece for displaying dried arrangements, or simply for decorating a sideboard, console, or dining room cabinet.
A piece that elevates any dining experience and brings the charm of classic collectability to contemporary homes.
