Chair (3) - Wood - Louis-Philippe style

Chairs in Louis-Philippe style, probably 19th century, approx. 1840–1870. The models show the elegantly curved lines typical of this era and a restrained classical design.

The middle chair is somewhat plainer in execution than the other two specimens.

The chairs were acquired through an antique dealer and have been in private ownership since the 1970s. They were professionally restored in the early 2000s, are in overall good condition, and have been used mainly as interior decoration, therefore only rarely. The exact origin or the executing cabinetmaker can no longer be traced.
