Description from the seller

A repoussé and chased devotional plaque in copper depicting Saint Anthony the Abbot, recognizable by the monastic habit, the flowered staff, and the presence of an animal at his feet. Within an oval frame with a vegetal motif, the saint is shown in a benedictory gesture beside a small rural building. It is an Italian production from the late 18th and 19th centuries, presenting with its old patina and in good condition of preservation.
