Description from the seller
This original work was created with a second-hand teddy bear, rescued from flea markets or from the garbage, and thus immortalized. The piece is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, and the bear also regularly appears in street form in various forms. (See photos).
The original teddy bear was dipped in deep red acrylic ink. It was then pressed in its entirety onto museum paper.
Technique: Warm, dark red acrylic / acid-free 340g museum paper

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and is visible in galleries from Zurich to New York. Particularly in the United States, his work has become extremely popular in recent years and hangs on the walls of several celebrities."
