Description from the seller

Fascinating and elegant Art Deco tableware set (France, 1920s/1930s), consisting of a 12-piece knife service completed by a pair of large serving utensils (a serving spoon and a three-tine fork). The set is entirely embellished and preserved inside its two original period boxes/cases, lined on the inside with elegant satin fabric and custom-shaped to perfectly house each piece.
The 12 knives feature stainless steel blades bearing clearly the punch and signature of the prestigious Parisian brand "INOX - M. SCHNERB - PARIS", renowned and active in Paris during the Art Deco period. The refined decorative collars with a fan-shaped geometric motif and pilasters connect the blades to the magnificent handles in genuine natural light horn, characterized by warm honeyed tones and unique veining.
To the knife set has been deftly joined and paired a splendid pair of serving cutlery (a large spoon and a three-tine fork), made with the same materials (natural horn and silvered metal finishes) and housed in their coordinated original period box. It should be noted that the "M. Schnerb Paris" brand belongs exclusively to the 12 knives, while the serving cutlery was later paired with the set to create a coordinated, complete, and harmonious table service.
NOTE ON CONDITION AND AUTHENTICITY:
As clearly visible from the macro close-up photographs, some horn handles of the knives show thin longitudinal superficial fissures due to age. We emphasize that these fissures DO NOT in any way compromise blade stability or the structural solidity of the handle. On the contrary, being an antique organic material, these subtle lines provide valuable biological testimony and irrefutable proof of the absolute authenticity of the natural horn (unlike modern imitations or Bakelite, which remain sterile and lack living veining).
Everything presents in good vintage condition. The blades show normal light wear scratches and the two original boxes show the classic, fascinating signs of time and external/internal wear, testifying to authenticity and historical integrity. A set of great class, perfect for collectors or to enrich a formal table with a touch of Parisian charm from bygone times.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR NON-ITALY BUYERS: We do not ship to non-Italian islands (for example: Canary Islands, Azores, Balearic Islands, French overseas territories, or other non-national islands). Any offers from such locations will result in order cancellation. Shipping is regularly guaranteed to mainland Italy, Sicily and Sardinia.
