Gien - Table service (12) - Porcelain

Very pretty set of 10 large Gien faience plates, 30 cm in diameter, from the famous French manufacturer founded in the 19th century and renowned for its fine tableware in faience.

Each plate features an elegant central floral design consisting of pink flowers on brown branches, with yellow and green foliage, enhanced by a double brown/gold rim on the edge. The cream background, slightly speckled, and the romantic decoration give the whole a vintage charm that is highly decorative, ideal for a chic country table, wall decor, mismatched dinnerware, or a refined table setting.

The plates bear on the reverse the GIEN France stamp with the castle, confirming their provenance from the Gien Faience Works. Floral model not identified precisely, probably vintage production from the 1960s-1970s.

Condition: very good. Presence of slight enamel crazing visible, light signs of age and small marks from use. An authentic, decorative and very charming set.
