Lot of 3 Historic Wooden Watchmaker Boxes – Spare Parts "Couronnes pour Montres" – Vintage mid-1900s

A fascinating glimpse into the history of watchmaking for collectors and professionals.

Splendid lot consisting of 3 vintage wooden organizer boxes for watchmakers, originally used for storing and classifying winding crowns for wristwatches ("Couronnes pour Montres Bracelets").

These cases are not only beautiful display objects for shops or studios, but also bear witness to the precision of Swiss/French artisanal work from the last century.

The Lot Includes:

2 Small Boxes (Dimensions: about 8 x 14 cm): The inside of the lid features the original yellow label with the technical measurement table (Ref. 2722, "Dorées long canon"). The internal compartments are lined at the bottom with the classic green felt.
1 Large Box (Dimensions: about 8 x 19 cm): Equipped with a grid of numbered, more densely arranged compartments. This box still contains a selection of original period spare parts inside (crowns and components visible in the photos), which add enormous historical and collecting value to the lot.

Details and Condition
Material: Solid wood with metal/brass hardware on the front hinges and latches.
Period: Mid-20th century (circa 1950s/1960s).
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The wood has a beautiful patina that enhances its authenticity. The inscriptions on the lids and the internal tables are clearly legible. The metal latches are intact and functional.
